The Forgotten Valley – 平安谷之詭谷傳說

The Forgotten Valley drama is about in the early years of the Republic of China, in a remote, backward-thinking village – Safety Valley – women have always been bullied by men due to a male chauvinist feudal philosophy. A couple that has been influenced by Western thinking return to Safety Valley, hoping to change and builds their hometown. Unfortunately, they encounter a clash between the old and new ways of thinking and face many difficulties. They get embroiled into a mysterious ghost bride murder case. Behind the kidnapping and murder case, there is a group of women who have been oppressed by men in power.They have secretly united to carry out a revenge mission.

故事主題為「一條封閉的村莊，一場男女的鬥爭」，講及一條村莊重男輕女的故事。此劇也是近年繼《銀樓金粉》、《名媛望族》後再度以一夫多妻制度以及男尊女卑制度作為題材之劇集。在民國初年，在偏僻落後的村落 — 平安谷內，男尊女卑的封建思想下，女人一直被男人欺壓。一對受了西方思想薰陶的夫妻，返回平安谷，想改變、建設家鄉，可惜遇到新舊思想的衝擊，困難重重，還被捲入神秘的幽靈新娘殺人事件、綁架及兇殺案中，原來背後有一班被男權壓迫、欺凌的女子，她們暗中結盟，進行復仇行動。
